Fuel filters are available in diesel filters, Auto Oil Filter and natural gas filters. The function of the fuel filter is to prevent particulate matter, water and impurities in the fuel, and to protect the precision parts of the fuel system from wear and other damage. So what are their respective working principles and how to maintain them? Our Durable Hydraulic Oil Filter Supplier will come to tell you.

How diesel filters work

The structure of the diesel filter is roughly the same as that of the oil filter, and it is available in both exchangeable and spin-on versions. However, the working pressure and oil temperature requirements are much lower than the oil filter, and the filtration efficiency requirements are much higher than the oil filter. The filter element of the diesel filter is mostly made of filter paper, and it is also made of felt or polymer material. The diesel pumped by the oil pump enters the casing through the inlet pipe interface, then passes through the filter core into the inner cavity of the filter element, and finally outputs to the fuel injection pump through the outlet pipe interface. During this process, mechanical impurities and dust in the diesel oil are filtered out, and moisture is deposited in the casing to achieve the effect of filtering the diesel oil. After the diesel engine is running normally, the filter can achieve the best results within 5000 km. As the precipitation water and filtered impurities increase, the filter must be replaced periodically, and the replacement cycle depends on the quality of the actual diesel used. Under normal circumstances, the use of diesel filters must not exceed 10,000 kilometers. To extend the life of some diesel filters, a drain plug is designed at the bottom of the filter. After working for a while, the plug can be unscrewed to remove the moisture from the filter.

How does the fuel filter work?

The gasoline pumped by the oil pump enters the casing through the inlet pipe interface, then passes through the filter core into the inner cavity of the filter element, and finally outputs to the carburetor through the outlet pipe interface. In this process, mechanical impurities and dust in the gasoline are filtered out to achieve the effect of filtering the gasoline. After the gasoline engine is running normally, the filter can achieve the best results within 5,000 km. As the filter impurities increase, the filter must be replaced periodically, and the replacement cycle should depend on the actual quality of the gasoline used. Under normal circumstances, the use of fuel filters should not exceed 10,000 kilometers.

Fuel maintenance filter

After the filter is clogged, the resistance of [/k1/] increases, and the gasoline flow is not stable, causing the fuel level in the filter to rise. From the filter housing, the internal oil level rise can be observed to determine if the filter is clogged.

After the filter element is clogged, the fuel supply is insufficient, the engine power is reduced, the vehicle cannot travel, and the vehicle speed is lowered. Cars with a speed of more than 100 km/h can be reduced to 70-80 km/h or even lower in the case of poor engine acceleration. Audi, Santana, Jetta and other cars need to change gasoline every 15,000 km of filter.

In addition, the fuel filter also needs to be replaced regularly. When replacing the oil filter, you should pay attention to the sealing of the oil grid and the oil grid. Pay attention to the leak of the interface and be alert to the oil leakage. For the air grid and the air conditioner grid, ensure the overall replacement after the replacement. Sealability; care for the gasoline grid, try to use the matching label gasoline specified by the car manufacturer; the filter has the arrow mark of the inlet and outlet, and should not be reversed when replacing.

The above is about the fuel filter, I hope to help everyone, and if you are interested in the filter, you can contact us, our company is engaged in air filters, oil filters including Durable Hydraulic Oil Filter, welcome your purchase.
